Jacob's projects and accomplishments

Ontario County Housing Services Initiatives:

This is a proposal currently under development in collaboration with the Ontario County, New York Board of Supervisors.  It seeks a New York State resolution to address homelessness and the shortage of affordable housing in Ontario County.

School resource officers Initiatives:

I proposed a collaborative partnership with the Ontario County Sheriff's Department and Senator Helming's office to advocate for New York State funding of school resource officers.

Educational institutions should allocate their limited state and federal funding towards educational materials, services, and resources that enhance student skills, knowledge, and overall success.  Diverting these funds to security personnel salaries restricts the provision of essential resources and services, both within and outside the school environment.

School safety should not be determined by budgetary constraints, necessitating a shift from part-time to full-time security measures.  Funding for full-time school safety officers should be provided through state and/or federal resources, ensuring comprehensive coverage.  The DCSA can also contribute to this initiative.  I am dedicated to achieving this goal through collaboration with local, state, and federal officials to guarantee that our schools receive the necessary full-time security for optimal safety.

U.S. Department OF Community Security Administration  (DCSA):Keeping our community and schools safe:

This proposal is currently under active advocacy with federal and state senators and representatives to secure serious consideration and improve the provision of security, safety, and mental health resources for schools and the community, benefiting families and young adults.

I am dedicated to providing our next generation with the support, safety, and educational resources necessary for their success.  DCSA offers not only essential community and school safety services, but also proactive services to ensure comprehensive access to resources, training, and collaborative government and community partnerships, thereby enhancing the safety and quality of life for individuals and families.

U.S. foreign Services initiatives:

The nationwide refugee services proposal was rejected, and is therefore inactive.

NYS department of Foreign Services initiatives:

This proposal, was to provide refugee services statewide, it was rejected.  This proposal is not currently in progress.

Ending the Ukrainian War efforts:

Jacob has engaged in collaborative efforts with international leaders to facilitate a resolution to the conflict in Ukraine, addressing potential team biases within the working partnership.  He has contacted the United Nations, European Union, NATO, the U.S. Department of State, Ukrainian and Russian diplomats, the Presidents and Vice Presidents of Ukraine and the United States, and other neighboring country leaders, seeking to convene an emergency meeting to explore pathways toward ending the war and subsequently rebuilding, reforming, and fostering reconciliation between Ukraine and Russia.

United States Border Patrol  safety and Immigration Crisis:

Jacob is deeply concerned about the nation's security and future, and is gravely disappointed by the ineffective leadership and policy implementation resulting in significant costs to American citizens.  He hopes to engage with Border Patrol agents, government officials, and the Department of Homeland Security to explore solutions.  His advocacy focuses on enhanced border security, improved accountability, and the implementation of humane yet effective policies to safeguard the nation's borders from illegal entry.

Town of Canandaigua NY elective Officials  Budget Cut proposal (Town Supervisor Agenda 2025):

Thank you for your time and consideration of this proposed plan, I encourage you to submit questions, ideas, and concerns regarding important community matters. My commitment is to serve alongside you, fostering collaboration and implementing practical, positive change.  My proven track record demonstrates perseverance and a relentless pursuit of results, even in the face of adversity. I am confident that a new generation of leadership, characterized by reliability, responsibility, and accountability, is essential.

Veteran Support:

Many veterans lack a proactive post-discharge plan, facing uncertainty regarding housing, reintegration skills, and a potential loss of purpose, direction, and identity.  We must hold VA leadership accountable for ensuring comprehensive veteran care, both during and after their service.

It is imperative that no veteran transition from service without adequate housing, pre-employment skills training, and financial stability.  To address this, I propose collaborating with local communities, county officials, and federal agencies, including the VA and relevant U.S. Departments, to establish and enhance support services for our veterans.  This initiative will prioritize improvements in veteran compensation, health insurance, and housing, while simultaneously promoting the development of robust contract, private, and community-based programs designed to foster veteran and family self-sufficiency through skills development, education, and successful community reintegration.

Ontario County department of Foreign Services initiatives:

This proposal, was to provide refugee services on a county wide basis, but it was rejected.  This proposal is not currently in progress.
